Qualification Structure & Learning Hours
- Total Qualification Time (TQT): 590 hours (including independent study and practical work)
- Minimum Guided Learning Hours (GLH): 314 hours (including direct instruction and supervised assessment)
Mandatory Units
To achieve this qualification, learners must complete five (5) mandatory units:
- Unit 1: Conforming to General Health, Safety, and Welfare in the Workplace
- Unit 2: Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace
- Unit 3: Moving, Handling, and Storing Resources in the Workplace
- Unit 4: Installing Dry Lining Systems in the Workplace
- Unit 5: Installing Metal Stud Partitions in the Workplace
Assessment & Certification
- Learners will be assessed against National Occupational Standards (NOS) through workplace observation and a Portfolio of Evidence.
- A qualified assessor will support learners throughout the qualification process.
